Ingredients;
Raw banana/nenthra kaya- 1 sliced
Yam/ chena- 1/2 cup small cuts
Curd- 1 cup
Ghee - 2 tsp
Curry leaves
Pepper powder 1 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder-1tsp
Fenugreek powder/ uluva podi- 2 pinch
Seasoning:
Mustard seeds/kaduku- 1/2tsp
Whole red chilly-4
Coconut oil
Make a Coconut paste:
Grated coconut-1 cup
Cumin seed/ nalla jeerakam-1/2 tsp
Green chilly
Procedure;
Cook yam and rawa banana using pepper powder, turmeric powder and water.
If vegetables cook add enough salt to it. Water in the pan should be evaporated.
After that add ghee to the vegetables.. then add curd and mix well add some curry leaves also.
When curd became thick add coconut paste. Mix well.
Add salt if necessary.
Cook for few minutes
Add fenugreek powder and put the flame off .
Take another pan and heat oil.
Add cumin seed, red chilly and curry leaves. Saute for few seconds..
Add this mix to our kaalan....
