Peel the skin of following vegetables and cut them into 2 inch long piece.
Ingredients;
Elephant foot yam / chena-100 grams
Drumstick -1
Ash gourd/ kumbalanga -3/4 cup
Raw banana/kaya-1
Cucumber/ vellarikka - 1
Carrot -1
Beans -6-7
Potato -1
For grinding
Grated coconut - 1 cup
Cumin seeds /Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Green chilli -3
Curd- 2-3tbs
Coconut oil - 2-3 tsp
Curry leaves
Turmeric powder - 1/2tsp
Salt
Procedure:
Wash and cook all the vegetables along with turmeric powder and salt with little amount of water (just cook should not be mashed).
Add the grinded coconut (coconut+cumin seed+green chilly) and mix well..cook for some mintutes.
Put the flame low and add curd .. (add salt if necessary).
Mix well and put the flame off after few seconds..
Now add coconut oil and curry leaves. Mix well..
